I've spent years building enterprise software infrastructure. Oracle systems, Java toolchains, the kind of work where a missing utility costs teams hours every week and nobody fixes it because it isn't glamorous enough. I built the tools I wanted to exist. That's Sage Tools.

PathForward started from something closer to home. I kept watching people get stuck at transition points — career pivots, legal tangles, second chances — and the software they needed either didn't exist or was too complex to use. I started building toward that, one app at a time. The studio holding both things needed a name. I found it inside my own surname.

Operating Principles

  1. One live product beats five in progress. Ship, then improve.

  2. Honest status. Nothing marked "coming soon" unless it's actually being built.

  3. Real problems first. Every tool I build is one I needed myself before asking anyone else to pay for it.

  4. No fluff. Every feature earns its place in the interface.

  5. Software that respects the person using it — their time, their data, their intelligence.

  1. PathForward Intelligence is now SageTools Intelligence. The product belongs under the Sage brand.

  2. Passante domains live: passante.io, passante.ai, passante.net. The studio has a real name now.

  3. PathForward for Men cleared build certification — nine cycles, zero non-conformances. Launch prep begins.
